An honest wood cutter and the axe   Once there lived a woodcutter in a village. The village was near a deep forest. The woodcutter was very poor but honest. The forest was on the bank of a deep river. One day while cutting wood his iron axe fell from his hand into water. Then a wonderful thing happened. A beautiful fairy appeared before the wood cutter while he was crying bitterly. The fairy wanted to know about the reason of his crying and the woodcutter told her about the sad incident.
