Load Shedding or, scarcity of electricity

Electricity is the driving force of modern civilization.Load-shedding means the discontinuation of electricity supply on certain lines. Nowadays is a regular affair in our country. It happens when the demand of electricity is greater than production. Less production of electricity,  misuse of electricity, illegal connection etc are greatly responsible for load shedding. Load shedding causes  great sufferings to the people. It paralyses our life. It badly affects the economic and social development of a country. It hampers  our productions. Mills , factories , industries, shops, hospitals etc cannot run without electricity. The foods kept in the refrigerators get rotten. The housewives suffer greatly sitting in the darkness. Sometimes they fall to perform their duties in time. The students and the patients are the worst suffers of it. The student cannot study. The patients cannot reach hospital for treatment in time. Sometimes operations are stopped. So, proper steps should be taken to stop it for the greater interest of the  nation. Our government should set up more powerhouses. Illegal connection and misuse of electricity should be stopped. System loss should be reduced. Above all, public awareness  should be raised in this regard.

A Greedy Dog and a Piece of Meat

Once a dog stole a piece of meat from a butcher's shop. He was very glad to have it and thought of a heavy meal at home. He was greedy. On the way there was a small river. Over the river there was a bridge. The river was full to the brim. While the dog  was passing the bridge he saw his own shadow into the water. But he thought it was another dog. The shadow dog also had a piece of meat that was his own meat. But the dog was unable to understand the matter. To have that  piece of meat the dog barked and jumped  into the river. As he opened his mouth his own meat dropped into the water. He tried his best to have his own but in vain. The dog was foolish. So, he lost not only his meat but also his life. The teaching of the story is 'grasp all lost all'.
