A Greedy Farmer

 Once there lived a poor man in a village with his wife and number of children. He was thinking how he could get solvency. One day he bought a goose from the market and the stomach of the goose was full of gold eggs. 

He could not check his greed. A wicked idea came to his mind. He wanted to be rich overnight and so he wanted to get all the eggs at a time. He told his plan to his wife. His wife was not greedy and said,  "Be happy with what you have." 

The farmer did not listen to her  word and decided to kill the goose. One day  his wife was absent from the house and the greedy farmer got a golden chance that day. He brought a sharp knife and cut open the belly of the goose with it. 

But alas! there was no egg in it and the farmer lost the goose for ever. He could understand his foolishness but it was too late. He became sad and thought that he would not get gold  eggs anymore. 

He cried out saying . "What a great fool I am !" Then  his wife said, "You're not only foolish but also greedy. So, you've lost all." The  story proves that  grasps all, lose all.

                                                              A cook and his master A clever cook and his ready wit A cook once roasted a duck for his master. The roast looked so delicious that the cook could not resist the temptation and ate up one of the drumsticks. When the master sat down to eat, he quickly noticed the missing of the leg and asked him about the other leg. The cook told him that the duck has only one leg. Active voice: When the verb of a subject is active  its own, then we can say  it  an active voice. Examples: I do the  work. Karim eats rice. Salma reads a book. Kobita is eating bread. Passive Voice : When the verb of a subject  become in active  then it is called passive voice. Examples: The work is done by me. Rice is eaten by Karim. A book is read by Salma. NB: She  is done  the work. A book  have had  by me. She  is gone  to school. We think  these are not  voice, but  they may be some special sentence.
