A Tea Stall

A tea stall is a small shop which sells ready tea with some dry foods. It is a common sight in our country. It is usually found in cities, towns, market places, railway stations, bus stands and near offices, hospitals, mills and factories and even in villages. A tea  stall opens early in the morning and closes very late at night. In some important places like railway stations, steamer terminals etc the tea stall remains open round the clock. It is not well furnished. There are some chairs, table and benches. A tea stall needs some materials to get tea ready. There is an oven where a kettle is burning. There is also a pan of milk to prepare tea. Hot tea, biscuits, cakes, bread, bananas, betel leaf, cigarettes etc are sold here. One or two  boys serve the things to the customers. The manager manages everything and collects money. A tea stall is a noisy and busy place. It is a meeting place of different classes of people. People of different classes visit it. They  often discuss politics and  other matters. Sometimes they exchange hot words. However, a tea stall should be kept neat and clean.
