Discipline

Discipline means obedience to rules and regulations framed for human being. We cannot do anything correctly without discipline. It is  a great virtue. Its value is great. It is the root of all virtues. As a social being, man has to abide by some rules and regulations to maintain peace and happiness in the society. A man without discipline cannot shine in life. The family, the society, the office and the state cannot go without it. We find it in schools and colleges, in the army and in the battle field. Teaching learning will not be possible without this virtue. It is followed everywhere in nature. The earth , the moon , the  stars and all planets move round the sun following discipline strictly.In fact, human society is based on discipline. This virtue is the root of all happiness and success. A life without discipline is like a ship without a rudder. So, we all must cultivate this virtue from our childhood to all stages of life.

Facebook is an internet based social network. It is the most popular social network service.It was launched on February 20, 2004. It was founded by Mark Zucker Berg with his college room mates and fellow students. The number of the Facebook users are increasing day by day. most of them Facebook on a mobile service. Its users must be registered before using the social networking site.After creating a personal profile, they can add other users as friends and  exchange SMS.Facebook has affected  the social life and  activity of people in various ways. It connects people  worldwide. It contributes much to develop social and friendly relationship among people living far and near.It provides on-line chatting as well. With the help of Facebook, we can easily find out our long lost friends and relatives who are Facebook members. Besides, Facebook  can be used to raise awareness and  share news and views  among the members. Any person wishing to be a Facebook member needs first to  have an internet connection and then to sign up with personal details and secret passwords to ensure privacy and security. Facebook has some disadvantages as well. Evil-minded people may upload objectionable photos  and comments. They  use it to serve  their evil purpose.In spite of these negative aspects. Facebook is a great blessing of modern science.

Predicament of King Lear Or, King Lear and his Daughters.

 Once upon a time there was a king in England. He had three daughters. They are Goneril, Regan and Cordelia. One day he made up his mind to divide his kingdom among them.So he called them in the court and asked each of them how much they loved him.He also declared that the largest part would be given to the one who loved him most. At first he asked his eldest daughter Goneril, "How much do you love me?"  and she replied that she had loved him more than she would say. Lear was satisfied, called for the map of his kingdom and drew his finger  round a part of it. Then came the turn of second daughter Regan who told her father that her love for him would never end and change. Being pleased , Lear gave her another part of his kingdom . Then it was turn of Cordelia, the youngest and most loved daughter but Cordelia did not flatter her father like her elder sisters. Rather she said, "Nothing. I love you like father."  Lear was shocked and said , "Nothing will come out of nothing." Then he divided his whole kingdom between the two elder daughters but later on, both Goneril and Regan betrayed their father. Then the king  could realize his wrong decision. 

A Clever Astrologer

 Once upon a time there was a king who was very fond of knowing his future from an astrologer. A famous astrologer happen to stop at his capital on his way to Beneras. The king called on him to know his future and the astrologer said something unpleasant. At this the king got furious. He sentenced the astrologer to death saying, "A man like you should not live to spoil the peace of the world."
