Discipline means obedience to rules and regulations framed for human being. We cannot do anything correctly without discipline. It is  a great virtue. Its value is great. It is the root of all virtues. As a social being, man has to abide by some rules and regulations to maintain peace and happiness in the society. A man without discipline cannot shine in life. The family, the society, the office and the state cannot go without it. We find it in schools and colleges, in the army and in the battle field. Teaching learning will not be possible without this virtue. It is followed everywhere in nature. The earth , the moon , the  stars and all planets move round the sun following discipline strictly.In fact, human society is based on discipline. This virtue is the root of all happiness and success. A life without discipline is like a ship without a rudder. So, we all must cultivate this virtue from our childhood to all stages of life.

 Once upon a time there was a king in England. He had three daughters. They are Goneril, Regan and Cordelia. One day he made up his mind to divide his kingdom among them.So he called them in the court and asked each of them how much they loved him.He also declared that the largest part would be given to the one who loved him most.
