গল্প লেখনঃ

  • The Liar Shepherd and the Tiger

Once upon a time there was a shepherd. He kept a flock of sheep near a forest .It was not far from his village. One day he wanted to make fun with the villagers.  As a result he cried out, “Tiger! Tiger!  Help me.”
The villagers heard his crying. They organized to rescue the shepherd. Everybody took a heavy stick and rod, exe and came to help him.

They reached to the boy putting their work behind. As they reached to the boy they saw the laughing loudly. But there was no tiger nearby him at all. The boy said to the villagers, “I am just making a fun.”
As a result the villagers went away their own work.
Another day the boy again cried out, “Tiger! Tiger! Help me,”
The villagers came to help the following day again. But they saw that the shepherd was laughing like the previous day. So they became angry and went away to their works.

One day the shepherd was tending the sheep near by the forest again. The day was sunny. So he was singing and looking after the sheep. This day he saw a tiger truly. He started shouting,” Tiger! Tiger! Help me.”

But nobody came to hear his shouting. They thought that the boy was making a fun like previous day.  So it was unwise to come to help the shepherd. The tiger attacked the boy and the boy died forever.

Moral: Nobody trusts a liar.

  • The dove and the Ant

Once upon a time there lived an ant on a branch of a tree. He was living happily on it. One day the sky became cloudy and the air was blowing seriously.

In the mean time the ant fell down into the water and trying to come to the shore of the pond. But the blowing air could not give him do so.

A dove was sitting on the branch of the tree then. She saw the piteous sight of the ant. She took pity on the ant and took it in its mouth. Then the dove put it on the branch of the tree.

Many years have gone. A hunter came out for hunting. He was seeking birds to aim at. He was walking and walking. Suddenly he saw the dove sitting on the branch of the tree. He was coming under the tree silently. The ant follows the hunter. He understood that the hunter would kill the dove with his gun. So he had to do something for the dove who rescued him in his danger.

So the ant silently went towards the dove and bit on her foot. Feeling the bit, the dove flew away. Then the ant said to himself, “Oh God! I could save dove’s life. Now I am free from debt.”

Thus the ant saved the dove’s life.

Moral: An honest man can get reward from his task.
